I believe that after you die, you are questioned. Your answers determines your destination (heaven or hell). Of course, it's not as simple as one may think. You don't answer the questions as the tongue tends to lie (depending how much you lied during your life) so the questions are directed at your body (eg. the eyes are asked if they looked at...inappropriate things etc.) The body won't lie...so there really isn't a way to run away from god's judgment :\
Then again...you've got no reason to fear if you're good throughout your life though.
After that then it's heaven or hell....for eternity(?)

Ahhh, i use to be like that as well, now i will just accept whatever happens when i die.

If i live the life i want to live i must be able to accept the consequences if there are any, to my actions, those being "heaven and hell" or being "reincarnated" as a "lesser form" or just nothing happening and being in oblivion.

i kinda believe that one reincarnates once they have died. and they keep reincarnating until they find an answer. an answer to the question of life? an answer to why it is their consciousness that resides in an unfamiliar body and not someone elses? i'm not really sure what answer is being sought after.

it could probably be a universal answer that all conscious people seek in a subconscious way. or unique to each individual. i believe that little bits and pieces collect with each life's experience and are stored in a subconscious that moves with a person as they reincarnate. it just keeps collecting as their subconscious learns of new joys and hardships until it finally completes itself. which, upon death, the holder of this subconscious is finally freed and just exists at a level that is not understandable to those who have yet to find their answer. or maybe they go and join a higher power in eternal bliss. don't know.

I'm another one for there being nothing after you die. It used to scare me when i was younger, but recently I've gotten to the point where i don't really care about it anymore, i figure that if there's nothing else, i may as well just try and enjoy what time i have. It also comforts me to not believe in some kind of afterlife, especially ones like the Christian version, because that just means that our time on Earth is just a test.

im a christian so i believe whatever the bible says and maybe a few other stuff but it says u either go 2 heaven, hell, or some evil being keeps u here and under temptation u become an evil spirit whose job is 2 try 2 terrorize others on earth and 2 keep other spirits from going 2 heaven. i really like how that sounds tho ^.^

One thing that came to me a few years ago...

What if you belonged to one religion, died, and it turned out you were totally wrong and had worshipped the wrong god/etc.?

That would totally suck...
