what do use them all for? i use most of them to mark manga to look at later and maybe read. i use another to mark manga that im waiting on updates for. i use another one to hide my weirder manga that id rather people didn't see on my complete list(like junji ito). and my other list is used to mark mangas that currently aren't scanlated but i want to read.
do you need more? to be honest i need to condense most of my lists and then i need to make everything more organized and orderly. so i probably will make more.

I have eleven. I guess six are custom? I use them to separate complete series from series still in progress, separate one shots from everything else, and then I have a 'maybe' list for series that I don't want to read as much as the ones on my Wish List. I don't think I need more. I guess if I was really bored sometime I could separate the series on my Wish List by genre.

The only list I keep relevant is my 'Garbage' list, which lists all the manga I've ranted about in the comments. I only do this because the user CP or any feature on this site doesn't automatically do so, which is odd. (Or maybe it does track it, but it's not immediately obvious to me, so...)

I earnestly don't use this site to track manga, just look it up. And to be a part of the community too, but with four years under the belt, I still only have 350 posts.

i have 6, and only one is custom -- the "favorites" list. I use all of MU's lists. they're handy when i'm searching for stuff ^^
