This year's July issue of Shueisha's Saikyo Jump magazine will announce on Wednesday that Kenji Taira's Naruto spin-off manga series Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden (Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals) will end in the magazine's August issue on July 4. The new chapter, which will be longer than usual, will feature the "destined" final battle with Gaara.

Taira launched the manga in 2010 and Shueisha published the sixth compiled volume on May 2. The manga inspired the 51-episode Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals anime series in 2012-2013, which Crunchyroll and Viz Media both streamed as it aired.
