Because there are many many ways of romanization of Korean and only main name and associated names can link to author pages.

Just a slightest difference in romanization will cause series can't appear on author page and users continue to create new entry for the same author. I noticed some and requested delete all.

Also, there are many series with original Kr in author/artist field. Because Kr romanization is so complicated and difficult and put original name in those fields is probably the best way. "Name (in native language)'' field don't link to author page so those series don't appear on author page.

There are some artists with same names but it's not common.

We will not be changing this because allowing that encourages people to not fix series info. Author names in the "Name (in native language)" field are still searchable, even if they are not linkable
