Don't over look this one, but considering the randomness of Death Note, I am not sure if the manga will end as we expect, where the 2 main characters each fulfill their dreams and end up together. It might just be one of those lame ones where the main characters part and later recalls these events and were thankful that their initial crushes led to their life's true purposes. That would be so bad...

Well it can go either way. Too early to tell yet, i think. But as it is now i see no reason to say they won't.

Their devotion to each other is way too strong for them to not end up together. The only way is if one of the two dies.

Thats what I think as well but the last chapter gives me hope that their chances of ending up together is pretty high at the moment
