I'm looking for manga that has short-term relationships/relationships with expiration dates due to circumstances such as bad timing, future incompatibilities, etc.

Maybe they work it out, maybe not; I want something with a slice of life sort of feel.

Not sure if this is entirely what you're looking for, but the BL Seven Days had one of the main pair date the first person who asked him out on Monday morning and always ended up breaking up with her by that Sunday because she wasn't "the one," or something to that effect. Of course, the main plot revolves around a guy asking him out on a whim and then trying to keep them together throughout the seven days as they start to have feelings for each other. It was really sweet, as far as I remember, definitely a low-key, slice-of-life-y manga. 😃
