Recruiting - Mizuki Scans

I am suspending recruitment at Mizuki Scans due to the recent news of crackdowns on scanlation groups and hosting sites.
Hi Everybody,
I am Airi, the founder of Mizuki Scans. We are in need desperate need of translators. If you can translate from Chinese, Japanese, or Korean to English, we can use you. Even if you only have time to help out for a month or two, we don't mind.
**I am also going to try a radical new idea that I am not sure any other scan group has done.
I posted about 20 pages on the forum that need translated. The idea is that if someone knows Korean (so far that is what I have posted. I'll be adding Chinese and Japanese also. So, keep checking back), they can come in and translate a few pages for us and not be under any pressure to sign up or do further projects. They can just come in whenever they have time and help out.
The project I have up right now is Imitation Love by Hwang Mi Ri. If I get some hits on this projects, I plan on posting more in the future.
If you would like to translate a page or two, go to this site http://s7.zetaboards.com/Mizuki_Scans/topic/8298738/1/#new and post a reply with your translations. You do not need to sign up for the forum or anything. Just make sure and read the instructions at the site because they tell you how to enlarge the pictures so that you can see them.
I will remove pictures that have been completely translated as well as the translations and replace them with new pictures that need done. So, check back often if you have the time.**
Other positions that we can use help with are:
Assistant Admin - Basically, you would be helping me run the forum and group. You must be experienced in all areas of scanlating except translating.
Editors (Cleans and Typesets) - I prefer people with some experience but, I will train anybody that wants to help out. You must have Photoshop or GIMP.
Cleaners - I prefer people with some experience but, I will train anybody that want to help out. You must have Photoshop or GIMP.
Typesetters - I prefer people with some experience but, I will train anybody that want to help out. You must have Photoshop or GIMP.
QC - You must have experience in all aspects of scanlating to apply. You must also have Photoshop or GIMP.
Moderators - I need at least 3 good moderators to help me out with the forum.
From what I have heard, GIMP, is similar to Photoshop but is free to download. You can also use Paint Shop Pro. I am not sure if there are others out there that will work. Any program that you use must be able to save in .psd format. The only program that I am able to train on is Photoshop.
As an added bonus to translators and editors, if you help our group out, we will pick up a project that you would like to see done. It must fall under our guidelines of no Adult, Mature, Smut, Yaoi, Yuri, Shotacon, Lolicon, Shounen-ai, or Shoujo-ai. It must also be unlicensed. We will do either shounen or shoujo. I also have a bunch of raw sites you can look through if you need help deciding on something.
Now for the really good stuff.
The projects that we are currently working on are, many of which we are getting ready to release are:
- There Will Be an Angel to Love You Instead of Me
- Idol Paradise
- Umi no Kishidan
- Kokonoka no Majo
- St. Pineapple Moon
- Sukinara Sukitte Ieyo!
- Bran-New
These are the projects that we really need staff for so that we can get them up and going. Anyone interested in these, please contact me. Right now most positions, especially translator, are available on them.:
- The Moment When the Fox Becomes the Wolf - Korean
- Imitation Love - Korean
- **Hokusou Shinsengumi **- Japanese
I also have a large list of raws to choose from if you would like to help us out and don't see something here you like. And then, we are always open to suggestions also.
I checked all of the projects on mangaupdates to make sure that they have not had a release for at least 200 days. I realize that some of these projects may be on peoples future to do lists. I am not a supporter of those kinds of lists because a project could be on them for a year before somebody gets around to working on it. I see the lists as more of a we would like to do these if nobody else has started them kind of thing. The purpose of scanlating is to get the stuff out there for people to enjoy. If any scan group is interested in working with me on one of the above projects as a joint, let me know.
There is also a really cool feature to for the member of our forum. I have set it up so that anybody wanting to see something done can list it in our ideas section. Each project will be given a number by when it was posted. As our group starts looking for more projects, we will use this list and work from the first number on. We will only do one recommended project per person at a time though and any recommendations must follow our group rules. Pretty cool idea huh?
Now, if you want to help us out, you need to either email me at mizukiscans@gmail.com or sign up for our forum at http://s7.zetaboards.com/Mizuki_Scans/index/ where you can post in the Recruiting section or PM me. I will hold off on all tests for now until we get some more staff lined up.
Thanks in advance.

Proofreaders are the ones who check the translation if it's in proper English. Checking for correct spelling, capitalization, grammar, punctuation marks, etc...

Hi Everybody,
I am adding a new position to our group. It is for an Upload Wizard. Basically, you will be in charge of making sure certain projects get uploaded to various sites after our 3 day waiting period.
If you are interested in this position check out the above post and contact me. We would be happy to have you. Right now it is a little bit slow due to us being new but, I hope to remedy that.
Also, to all of you people that would like to learn scanlating, we are more than happy to train you. Just come on in and we can get you set up with a project.
Thanks,
Airi

A quick update to the changes I made at the top.
We are trying some new stuff with out forum. In the need for translations, I have posted some of our raw pages on the forum so that anyone that has time to translate can come in and post. There is no need to sign up or anything for that topic.
There was a slight error when I originally made the post. I set it up for anyone to be able to reply to it. I didn't realize I also had to change another area to get it to work. So, anyone that stopped in previously was unable to post without signing up. That is all fixed now and has been tested. I apologize for the inconvenience of that.
I have so far posted Korean raws. I plan on also posting Japanese and Chinese. I just have to get it set up. When I do, I will update the main post with the information.
Thanks,
Airi
