Do you immediately delete everything after you have no use for them anymore or are you the type to leave everything in random places? I don't delete that much myself, but I do try to organize. I always make precise and ordered folders. o.o For my manga and anime too~

The stuff I don't know what to do with (and that I only need for a short period) I put
them in a folder called "crap". 🤣 And I clean it up once a week or so. D':

I try to keep things organized in folders, but it never works out that way. I have stuff scattered around in random folders and I very rarely delete anything out of laziness.

Yeah I try to organise my stuff.

Although recently I've been lacking memory. My 37GB hard drive has been totally used up. I don't even know how. I must have so much crap on this thing. Mind you it is like, over 7 years old 🤣 It's all built up over the years.

So I've been flicking through things, trying to see what's needed and can be deleted to save me some memory.

But all my work is filed in a folder in "work" and manga in "manga" XD I've been a bit lazy recently though. Been throwing everything in My Docs 🤣

I've completely moved to Solid State Drives's on almost all my computers, so space is at a premium these days (considering the cost of SSDs) and I often get rid of what I don't need straight away.

Have multiple external HD's to archive important stuff like my work, videos and documents.

The important stuff is organised. I've got specific directories for anime, manga, movies, music, books, etc. with sub-directories where required. However, since I write (amateur) and my ideas tend to pop up any time, I jot them in Notepad and save it as whatever and wherever. Plus, some info I 'wanted to save' from net - it's scattered all over the place, too. Thanks for the topic - it reminded me I should do something about it. 😛

Oh, and PICTURES! Generally, they get saved god-knows-where. You know how it happens - you see it, you adore it, you save it. And you forget about it the very next moment. So that clutters up the computer, too.

I delete everything except the movies I really like and my tax documents. Very clean.

I'm an organizer. Never watch the same movie or episode twice so why shouldn't I delete it.

I have to or it drives me nuts.
But I am a hoarder so I keep EVERYTHING.
Ahahahaha I have quite a few hard drives.

Sometimes, my Mac decides where to put files and is really annoying so sometime soon I'm going to have to do a little extra spring cleaning. Oh man windows I miss you.

In one of my courses my teacher spent two hours on how to make, name, and organize files Mac. I wanted to hit my head against the wall.

😔

I try to delete stuff as soon as I'm really DONE with it, but I sometimes download stuff and then forget about it for weeks/months (complete j-doramas...yeah...) so my comp is pretty full.

The things I have the most trouble with are the ones I'm not sure I'm done with, so I don't delete them, and then forget about them, and then 6 months later wonder "why did I keep this again...?"

I try to be organized, but I'm stupid and have stuff spread out over three boxes and maybe six or seven different drives. I'm currently trying to consolidate all my crap into a few separate main folders onto one or two drives. the problem is I don't have a drive large enough with enough space to move stuff from five diffferent folders. For example, I've got five different folders labeled comics across all my drives. Pouring them all into one folder would be easy if there weren't about 100 subfolders inside those five folders.

Basically I need one big HDD
