My darkest secret is that I was sexually abused when I was a child. Only my parents knew of it. We moved away, but I closed myself to everyone in the next five years.

My biggest fear must be of water, like dark deep waters which you can't see the bottom of and it feels like if you go down, there will be no end.

Damn that's probably the worst childhood experience one can have 🙁
I hope it doesn't get you down anymore.

Speaking of the water-fear; it reminds me of a near-drowning experience I once had. I'm not scared of swimming in deep waters though, but maybe this time I'll do it without my clothes on 😀

It happened while we were on camp and doing a little 'paracommando' trip through the woods.
We were supposed to swim upstream a creek, a small gentle river. There was no current but the depth was still 3 meters so you couldn't aford to 'walk through the river'.
Anyway swimming with clothes shouldn't form a problem.. but it were the shoes. I didn't take just any pair of shoes I took my old skate-shoes.
Those things apparently absored a massive amount of water and made it quite impossible for my feet to move :s. On top of that the days and nights of booze and other sh*t didn't really improve my physique.
Conclusion: I nearly drowned and while sinking to the bottom of the river I took my shoes off and carried them (because I obviously didn't want to loose them) with me towards a rock in the middle of the river.
Good thing that rock was there, else I would have had to drop my shoes.
(That sounds lady-like perhaps, but without those shoes I would have had to walk barefoot for the remaining days ^-^)

Deepest darkest secret...

I sleep with stuffed animals.

:cries:

*but you know, secrets are only secrets if you keep them a secrete. If I told you it wouldn't be a secret anymore so why should you post it? Conundrum eh?

Noone said it would remain a secret after you told us so it's not a conundrum. Sorry 😛 Thoug if you seriously still sleep with stuffed animals I guess that's okay but your real secret must be much worse 😀

It's good to be bad. scribbles on school desk

Those are the type of occasions where I'll ever thank my brain for forgetting something.

What it's not my fault it was one time and it was like I was a week late and I just kept putting it off and putting it off and weeks turned to months, months turned to years and before I knew it it was way too late to return it and I had to avoid the library and the librarian like the plague. Spent a good part of my highschool years doing stealth mission training 🙂 Then luckily I switched schools and never had to worry about it again 😛 Yay it's one stupid novel that noone else would have read 😛 Also I always returned stuff on time after that and I've never stolen anything else except that book maybe when I'm old and grey i'll mail it to them 😀

The baddest thing I ever did was to steal a sip of Coke from someone else's bottle in the dorm fridge. Without their knowledge or permission.

Damn, I'm such a wimp. 🙁

My most humiliating secret? Well, it's not really a secret, since over 200 people saw it. When I was 11 years old, I was part of this huge inter-school production, and I was one of the girls who was supposed to be doing a choreographed dance near the front of the stage.

I FELL OFF THE STAGE.

Seriously. Head-first, skirt falling over my head. My Winnie-the-Pooh panties visible to anyone in the front row. People laughed at me. Like, everyone in the assembly hall. I was so humiliated that I almost burst into tears -- but then I got back onto the stage and finished my part. Heh. Maybe I'm not such a wimp after all.

I still have a fear of podiums, stages and raised platforms, though.

I sure hope no one ever asks me to do a eulogy!
