Yeah, that bit with an apple turning into a devil fruit was odd.

I think the thing about the devil's fruit was that it was leaving Smiley's body which is why he lost solid form. It'll be interesting to see how they deal with this type of thing. Also anyone else feel like Ceasar is going to turn into another Hodi in terms of the fight? Cause right now I still think Luffy and the crew have a lot of people outmatched after the time skip.
