I was just wondering what do you all think, how many more volumes are there going to be? Is it going to end someday (not that I want to, though) ?

I was thinking about it when I remembered how I, at first, read only those American comics (didn´t know that something like manga exists back then) and when I started to read manga I completely (hmm...´kay, almost) kicked American comics out from the stuff I read because one thing I hated about them was that they were like "never-never-neverending story" and also so tangled because of its length. I actually like long stories, but only if the author is enough creative and doesn´t write/draw about the same over and over again. . .So I ope you understand what I mean at the "right time".

Hope that you understand my question (I´m not really good at explaining my thoughts T_T ) and also that I put it in the right topic (sorry if I somehow bungled it....)

i think i read something from an article on the internet that this will be the last arc of bleach... and after that its finish... i think it will be in late december or early 2009

Well form what i heard Bleach has about 5 volume left before the show ends.

But I ve Already decide That If bleach doesnt end by 250 i am done watching it.

Bleach is already too long. It should have ended after Rukia was rescued from Soul Society.

@weronique: You say you didn't like that the same things happen over and over. Isn't that exactly whats happening in bleach? No offence. And you know mangas are comics too. Comics all over the world are called manga in japan.

Well to make an attempt on a wild guess... I'd say when this arc is done. And I honestly hope it'll become better and go down with a blast. 😀 😎

Double quoted for truth. You already know the deal with me and Bleach so I won't repeat myself, but it should've ended with Rukia being saved and her staying in Soul Society. No "Aizen faking to be dead", no "Secret plan to become God", no "Repeat of the same crap I just went through in volumes 9-20", just a simple "I now go and save the person who helped me save my family" plot.

But now I'm starting to think that Shuiesha is pulling a "MAKE IT LONGER FOR MOAR BUCKZ" kind of thing on Kubo like they did with Toriyama.

There will be at last two arcs. The current arc is more or less just the prequel for the Royal Guardian arc. In the end so many captains and friends are getting wounded that Orihime has to use her Revert Time ability to rescue the Soul City captains. Aizen will use her ability to create the lost key and escapes to Royal City. In order to rescue Orihime Ichigo and his friends are planning to chase Aizen and to enter the dimension portal of Royal City. There Ichigo will meet the royal Blacksmith, an erimit with outstanding sword skills who is going to train Ichigo and forge him a new sword. Sado will get his full body armor which look like the armor of a French Paladin, Ishida will get his final bow form and be able to shoot energy without relying on his necklance. The battle against Aizen will starts when Ichigo finally manages to use both the white and black energy of his sword and fight in hollow mode without relying on his mask.

The 2nd arc begins when soldiers from another Soul City enter the stage. Yes, there are more towns, towns which are much bigger than Soul City 1. New enemies and new aizens are going to appear. Ppl who all have managed to surpass their hollowfication. So my guess is, Bleach will run at least another 5 years to finish all three arcs.

I think it'll end at maybe chapter 500? As long as that is.

And I thought Aizen was the ultimate villain. I guess not.

bleach the manga may continue for a while longer (probbly something to do with zero squad and the royal guard, so another 5-10 new mega powerful beyond captain level people to introduce), but it seems that like d grayman, rather than go down the 100+ filler episodes that naruto fans had to put up with,( althought i think bleach was aproching that number quickly) the anime is to end within the next season or so.
