Hey guys,

Our group is in need of people who can help us out with our scanlation projects. We need translators and cleaners desperately to help us out with our projects.

We are also looking forward to working on other projects that are not being scanlated and are also not licensed in English.

The Scanlation section is here. You'll find all the information information in the sticky threads, the General Info thread has information regarding our present staff and current and future projects as well as our guidelines for picking up manga and our policies. There is also a thread for information on recruitment and application and etc.

Also if you want to contact me, do so at talscans[at]gmail[dot]com and I'll get back to you as soon as it's possible.

Just out of curiousity, why do you want to do a series that's already active being scanlated? Daily updates too.

The mangaka has a lot of other un-scanlated series you could do instead.

Funny thing you ask that, we realized it was being scanlated a couple weeks back. However, at the time we formed the group it wasn't being scanlated - Hox picked it up again more sooner than we expected and we were going to scanlate it while they were not focusing on Kurosawa.

That obviously didn't work out as we're a relatively new group. Not enough staff to spread the jobs around.

We are discussing what we should do now, either better quality scans for Kurosawa or another series that we decided to pick - in which case it could very well be Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru.

Okay, so we decided to move forward with KSKM with the goal of regularly releasing chapter (for now every two weeks).

For this we need a dedicated translator immediately so that we can continue.

We also have our first release for KSKM - Chapter 21.

We're still looking for more Cleaners and Translators as well so that we can pick up more unscanned projects.

Please email at talscans@gmail.com.

er.. it's also being scanlated.. I think there's a release every single day... you really should be picking up series that are dropped by years or something.. or new ones that are really great but no-one is willing to work on them... just.. saying... that... it's a waste of effort if you pick a manga that is already being scanlated... sorry if I'm a lil repetitive

but you should do what you really want.. don't mind us 😛

No there isn't a release everyday - if there was we wouldn't have picked it up =P

KSKM was a manga that was voted second in our list of choices and at the time releases were very infrequent and erratic - as they are now.

At the moment though a lot of our staff is busy. The more members we can get, the more projects we can pick up.

Personally, I know that there are mangas out there that haven't been scanned in ages, but we don't have the staff to do more projects =\

Rideback, Comic Master J - these two are mangas we want to try out. But we need Translators and Cleaners/Typesetters to move forward.

I really want to help you 🤢 but I'm in too many groups already... maybe in the no-so-distant future 😁

Haha, Well I'm looking forward to that day =D

Anyways, Translators, Cleaners/typesetters, I'm still looking for you, if you join the team you can suggest mangas too, we might just pick it up - hey, it's better to work on what you like rather than forcing yourself.

But we are still looking for cleaners/typesetters and translators for KSKM. Help us out =)

Hey guys, we're still looking for cleaners/typesetters and translators.

We really want to pick up more projects and get our releases out more frequently, so help us out. As long as you can help us get out a chapter every two weeks, that will suffice.

We also want to pick up a couple more series, so the more staff the better, please apply =)

Okay guys, another update, we're still looking for translators and especially cleaners/typesetter. Also if you can help with proofreading I'd appreciate you applying as well, we need you guys to look over the translations for errors and such.

In other news, we're picking up Kurosawa for sure this time. So we need staff for that as well.

No matter =) Here are the Job Descriptions basically copied and pasted from our site...
Translator: Really... self-explanatory.

Proofreaders/QCs:

Basically check for the flow of the translation as well as any grammatical errors. Make the translation fit to what the character would actually say and how s/he would say it. For example, Naruto would not speak in a formal tone and would probably use contraction (ie. Haven't/wouldn't) rather than "have not" or "would not".

I'll also leave it up to you guys to look up and provide a definition for a word that a layman wouldn't necessarily know of. Or to define certain Japanese words that are left untranslated by the translator.

Cleaner/Typesetter:

Cleaners literally clean the raw pages either from Tankoubons or magazines, also for our group, I combined the two jobs so they also typeset which is to insert the translated text into the appropriate text bubbles.

Back again - we are still in need of cleaners. It'd be awesome if you know how to redraw and have some experience already. If you have minimal experience with cleaning that's fine too.

Also like I previously said, we're not exactly on a tight schedule so if you're worried you'll be overworked - that doesn't necessarily have to be the case.
