Korean male who turned 17 about a week ago, but I'm only 176cm (5ft 9.5 inches) and I haven't grown in a year 🙁 (maybe 1cm or so).
When did you guys (esp the asians) have you growth spurt? I never grew in huge proportions, only bit by bit - never had a moment where I had growth pains........sob

I'm non-Asian & female, so maybe not too relevant, but I was 5 ft 8.5 inches at age 14...and I've grown about 1.5 inches since then; I think it was all by the time I was 21 or so. 😐

I also never had a huge "growth spurt" or growing pains, & neither did either of my older boys (both now 18, and around 5 ft 8 inches tall) or my brother (now almost 45, and about 6 ft 1 inch tall). (My youngest is not quite 7 years old, so no idea if he'll have a "growth spurt" or not.)

I think it really varies depending on the individual & family history. Do you have any male relatives you could ask? That might give you a better idea than random people on the internet. 🙂

I grew a lot around 16 years of age. Was a midget before that. Now about the same height as OP. Never really rapid growth, just too fucking forever to not be 150 cm.

Dude, you are taller than me. Even if you did have another growth spurt, which is unlikely now since you are 17, you are still tall enough. 🤣

I'm Asian and female. I'm 19 years old and I'm only a mere 5 ft. (150 cm)
I did not have much of a growth spurt. I only grew about 50 cm during puberty
Unfortunately I inherited my daddy's short genes... and did not drink milk regularly

Same, I didn't shoot up like a tree like some people, I also grew very slowly. I also didn't have growth pains 🙁 . I'm 16 and hoping that I somehow grow a little bit more. I HATE milk omg my mom use to try and force me to drink milk everyday when I was little and ever since then I've hated it. Won't even drink a quarter of a cup without wanting to gag...unless the milk has some sort of flavour in it 😁

I'm European and female by sex, my growth spurt was primarily when I was 14 to 16 (I went from around 138cm to 162cm). On the other hand, both of my brothers went through their growth spurts in two stages: my elder brother stopped in his early twenties, and my other brother is still growing. Also 176cm, while not tall, isn't short either, at least by western standards. And even when I was growing over 7cm a year, I never got growing pains: not everybody does, even IF they shoot up. I wouldn't complain about less pain regardless. ' 😁 '

It's probably best to ask family members, especially other males, how they grew: more often then not your growth patterns will be similar.
