My favourites are-
Crysis 2;
Prototype;
Section 8; Section 8 Prejudice;
Starcraft 2;
Angry Birds;
Roller Coaster Tycoon 2;

Have you played Fallout New Vegas? It's my favourite right now, probably will be for a while.

Don't like Portal 2; loved Diablo 2 and like Fallout: New Vegas from the reviews, but not looking for RPGs; I get too involved and lose precious study time. I'm looking for a game I can play in breaks, like in Prototype I would destroy some hives or some command centres or both or complete a mission and get back to studying.
Liked the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games too; same prob right now.

Infamous and Assassins Creed are both great series.
Red Faction: Guerrilla is awesome I spent hours just destroying buildings with my hammer.
I'll try to think of some more.

Can't play inFamous as it is only for the PS3; loved Assassin's Creed.
I'll try Red Faction: Guerrilla and Jagged Alliance.
Any other suggestions?

Alice came to a fork in the road.
"Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

I would also suggest the Mass Effect series. It is technically an RPG because you level up stats but it's more a shooter when it comes to gameplay.

Dark Cloud 2
The Kingdom Hearts Games
Any in the Civilization series (or anything else by Sid Miers) for that matter
Fate/Stay Night
sorry, haven't had a new system for half a decade.

Fate/Stay Night is long xD
It took me over a week to finish it.
Warhammer 40k is fun. There's also Terraria which is like a minecraft clone.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys, I'll try those out. I already played Mass Effect 2, though. Didn't like it much, sadly enough.
