Well, the new site broke all my scripts, lol. I had a script to re-sort items on my reading list "alphabetically" (but ignoring articles "a", "an", and "the" at the beginning). Farewell, easy-to-modify static IDs for elements, hello pita dynamic classes.

Not that I can see my lists anymore. There was an endlessly spinning loading icon where the list should have been, and the browser console is full of 503 Service Unavailable errors for chunks, and 404 for sbackground.gif. Are you live-updating it right now? Now it's just a blank page that only says "Something went wrong!"

I'm willing to work with you in order to ease any sort of transition. If you need us to add specific static classes, let me know.

As for 503s and 404s, you shouldn't be getting them. We have a rolling update and graceful cooldown for updates, but we're still tweaking that.

Please let me know if it's still happening for you.

Is it possible to have someone bulk update all the "Status in Country of Origin" fields in the database to prepend a backslash before all of the tilde characters where one doesn't already exist? With the markdown change it's causing a lot of text in that field to be shown as struckout. I've fixed a few manually already but realized it's widespread enough that it probably makes sense to just do it in bulk on the database side.

im not sure if this intended but new way of search is completely inferior and more like an update or upgrade removed things instead where searchs now are specific to series now removing the option to find authors or groups etc...

I used to be able to see the custom list's icon when I visited a series page that was in a custom list, but now I only see the default icons. It's a minor issue, but I wanted to point it out.

No worries, it was time for me to update my WaitForElement functions anyway, haha. My scripts are running again just fine.

On Grand Warlock Streamer, The Advanced Player of the Tutorial Tower, The Book Eating Magician, and others, if (for example) the Status in Country of Origin has multiple tildes, your markdown interpreter is converting them into strikethrough.

Unfortunately, this has been the style of indicating chapter ranges for volumes across many series here.

Is it possible to edit your markdown tags? Or swap to a flavor of markdown that requires double-tildes for strikethrough?

Edit: Ah, aonagare already pointed this problem out.

The new site update has led to some overflow text on mobile, especially in the forums. (Text flows into avatars, etc.)

Hi there Manick,

I had a bit of an issue with the category search function. When I click on a category, it takes me to the alphabetically ordered list of works with that category as usual, but when I then click "order by rating" the category seems to be forgotten and I just get a list of every single manga on the site ordered by rating. It's the same with "order by year".

Thanks for your work on the update!

Edit: Well that problem is gone. But I see why some of the saved links haven't been working: the old ones contain "series.html?[rest of the link]" and the new ones are just "series?[rest of the link]"... so perhaps people could edit their saved links to fix the problem.

I think Export to a text file in the previous version better than a JSON file.

Search seems broken. I find it a huge downgrade over the previous version.

It can only do series search now with no option for releases, authors, or publishers.

Normally you can use "![alt text](image_url)" but Images are disabled (I typed ![alt text](https://i.imgur.com/p6ELeBN.png))
