Already tried to delete the cookie to no avail
I still able to access the site if i am using other browser like Safari or go incognito, but not by Chrome proper

A few more broken things:
Clicking on your username at the top of the page now leads to the edit userpage section instead of the actual userpage.
Old links generated using the [m] and [a] tags such as those linked in this thread no longer work and redirect to the main series and author pages instead. Maybe prioritize fixing this if you can otherwise old threads will just become another unfortunate victim in the growing pile of of linkrot on the internet.

Ditto. I fat fingered the logout button again instead of the lists button on android. I'm now getting the same error on firefox, chrome and brave.
Logged out on one browser, but seems to have affected all browsers.

not major but when submitting a new release there is no confirmation on that page (or redirect to new page confirm as was done previously).
-
the '~' is now a reference to strikeout so a lot of the series that use the status country in origin to reference seasons now have strikeouts.
Example:
Season 1 (145) Season 2 (46)
Should Be:
Season 1 (1~45) Season 2 (46~)

Are the IDs the same base-36 encoded? It doesn't seem to work when I tried linking a decoded one in madokami.

Firefox.
So it is a "update", please don't downgrade the site we have been using since so many years ...I can't even add new tags smoothly anymore what a mess...
Can you be more specific on what's causing issues?

The IDs are the same. However, the old site allowed series.html?id=<new ID>. This was never intended, and I didn't account for it in the new site. It's on the list, but there are lots of bigger issues to deal with first.

Is it normal that my username and pasword are shown in plaintext in the adress bar as URL parameters when I click on login? Is that safe?

Try clearing your cache/cookies. Unfortunately, there's some residual cookies from the old version of the site that are left over. It wasn't the best transition.

It's not a good thing. I've discovered that if the site has an error, then any javascript handlers will not activate, and all site interactive functionality breaks. I will make a change that should prevent that from happening.
I'll modify the standalone login page form to use POST so that won't happen again.

Hi,
I'm writing on behalf of AnimeBytes as one of its developers. We have quite a collection of old links and are also using M-U for autofill of title/authors.
Given current changes, we're looking to update our scraper for proper API usage, however there are two issues:
- M-U no longer accepts long IDs on website
- API only accepts long IDs, not legacy short ones
As such, for full transition we'll need to update all our old links to new format. We have about 29k of these. Is anyone with backend access here able to provide us with 1:1 mapping of legacy short IDs to long IDs for the collection we have, or are we gonna have to do it the hard way? If possible, I would prefer to avoid sending 30k requests just to fetch "Location" header from 308 redirect.

Hi, the old ids series.html?id=xxx
stil works. It doesn't work with the new larger IDs however.
The new larger IDs are just base36 encoded to derive the url. So you can take your existing larger/longer IDs and just base36 encode them to get the MU url.
Otherwise, I believe someone created a github project out there a couple years ago with a mapping.
If you need additional assistance you can send me a PM.
