I'm going to hate myself for it, but I've gotta ask: just how much worse did the spoilers make it sound?

What we got was pretty bad all right: "let's die together" and "I look forward to being with you in the afterlife" are usually sentiments only expressed by lovers. Not to mention, lovers' suicide stories are a major part of Japanese culture (and the bread and butter of Bunraku theater). Add in Naruto talking about what's "inside his heart"... Kishimoto had to know his readers would find it all a little suggestive. >_< WTF is wrong with you Naruto, indeed.

Anyway. Why on earth are they still not letting us see Madara's face? We've already seen what he looks like from the flashbacks... As far as the rinnengan goes, I'm sorta glad to see it back, but sorta not. I'm glad because it was a fairly interesting technique (and is stronger than the sharingan!), but at the same time, Naruto has already defeated the original owner of the technique. Knowing Kishimoto, he'll probably come up with something cheap just to make the it look even more OMG awesome and scary than the last time we saw it. And I don't even want to think about the new heights of cheap that could be achieved with sharingan/rinnengan fusion techniques.

Really is this manga a shounen ai or what? This is too much. seriously stretching the limits of friendship here, like wayy too much. That kind of sentence is supposed to be said to lovers.well Atleast Sasuke reacted normally. a pretty lousy chapter this one.

I've been wondering why we still can't see Madara's face. At first, I thought that maybe he was Danzou, but we know that's not true. So, is he someone else we know? Or, is his face just hidden so that we will keep wondering why? It can't possibly be just to hide his other eye, right? He could just wear an eye-patch or something.

Anyways, I didn't think that what Naruto said was gay...well, not too much. He knows from the one punch that Sasuke and he are roughly equal in power, so the only logical outcome would be the deaths of both. Maybe something like "two tigers never fight" logic.* The afterlife part may seem a little gay, but he sees Sasuke as something like his brother, and if my brother spent several years wanting to kill me, then I would be quite happy to see him in the afterlife without any more strife.

*people know this right? Two tigers never fight, because, at the very least, neither would walk away unharmed...more than likely, they would kill each other.

Man ....That sounded so gay, it really is Shounen-Ai stuff, and for the first time I appreciate how Sasuke reacted to that comment, atleast Sasuke proved that he is "Straight"....so sad for Naruto that Sasuke doesnt swing that way. LoL. But bad news for Hinata and Sakura now knows why Naruto rejected her coz he is gay, and no matter how you try to label it as strong friendship or brotherhood, it stretches the boundaries of both

I'm sorry to dash your hopes, but Naruto will be using whatever Itachi gave him in "The Battle." And, I really don't see him realizing that he has it until then. I went through the chapters again, and Sasuke doesn't use the sharingan at all when Naruto is there, which, I would assume, is the trigger.
