Take a look at the last few pages again, Vander Decken is inside a bubble like luffy and others were, so he is still affected by the curse just like other fruit eaters.

Good chapter so far, now that the intro has been done the pace is quickening towards the action part of the arc 🙂

Also, it's been a long while since this manga has a cover story. Interesting to see the reactions of most characters.

Anyway, hopefully the Straw Hats don't cause too much trouble when next week's chapter comes.

Haha, I loved the part where Luffy is gorging on the princess' food. He looks like a hamster, especially when Shirahoshi makes him spill his food. Usopp is so dependable now! Huh, now that I think about it, I wonder what happened to Nami's staff with the Skypiea shells? Oh well, it doesn't matter anymore.
