I still am a fan of Hachi and Nobu regardless of Takumi's existance. I easily got over the Shouji x Hachi pairing, but I can't for Hachi and Nobu!! I feel that they are forever meant to be together.

However, I have a feeling that they'll never end up together, Ai Yazawa writes really realistic stories and does not sugarcoat it to the point where it's cheesy.

Yep, I definitely prefer Nobu/Hachi over Takumi/Hachi, cuz unlike Takumi, Nobu didn't cheat on or lie to her. I think Nobu and Hachi still have feelings for each other but I doubt that they'll end up together, which I'm okay with since Nobu deserves someone better. Hachi simply isn't faithful or reliable.

I supported them from the beginning. D;
Shouji was cool but I didn't adore his character or anything.

I just started the manga and I am already in love with the NobuxHachi pairing. Their relationship is just so cute and you can tell that they really love each other. Ahhh, I want them to get together so badly. 😀

Count me in as a supporter, too. I was so "WTF?!" when Hachi went off to Takumi (and even had a child with that guy!). Nobu was perfect for her, and now.... 😐

honestly, i didnt like hachi-nobu......i thought nobu was too nice of a guy to end up with her.......hachiko is a very flawed person, so i think being with takumi works better for her.....not to mention from hachi's stand point, he would make the better partner in raising her child given that he's rich.......and although i can understand why people hate takumi, i like the guy honestly

I think Yazawa will keep it a relatively open ended ending for nobu and hachi I doubt she'd let hachi stay with takumi for sure because jesus she'd have rioting on her hands! besides guys just remember the bathroom scene its keeping me going awh he grabbed her hand awh!

Hm.. I should say I hate Yuri xDDD I mean if she wasn't there, seducing him and all.. I thought that hachi would ditch Takumi and go with Nobu... but man, Nobu changed his heart >_<;;;

I don't understand why Hachi went to Takumi instead of Nobu, although she went to Takumi because she thought Nobu wouldn't be ready to be father and Takumi offered to father the child even if it wasn't his.
He sleeps with other women, and Hachi doesn't know. D:<
I hate Yuri! I wonder if she and Nobu had broken up in the future, that way she'd be out of the way. She's such a whore, literally, but she's loyal to Nobu. I got mad, when she and Nobu made love in a room while Reira and Shin's birthday party was going on downstairs. >___<;
I loved the scene in the future though, when Nobu was at Nana and Hachi's old apartment (?) and he played the guitar while Hachi rested her head on his shoulder.
It pisses me off that they aren't together right know... Let's keep our hopes up.
