you know the saying; 'it is what it is.'
so can you say ' it's what it's ' and be grammatically correct? 😕 😕 😕

Grammatically it makes sense but it doesn't sound right.

The only acceptable contraction usage would be "It's what it is" (and even then, most people wouldn't like it). Nothing else (except for the fully expanded version) makes sense to a native (American) English speaker. Besides, the fully expanded version has more impact. No point in contracting it
