that totally diffrent you know. Simpsons orignal language is in english so it makes sense that we watch it in english. Japanese anime's however are originally in japanese so eng dubs often sound forced, hardly make sense, dont match the lips, and the biggest problem is it sometimes has one of the most annoying voice actors ever. Bottom line, Dubs for the most part in any language are horrible.

Not really...you grow used to watching a TV show in English and to suddenly have it switch to any language makes it seem odd. Like when I watch Futurama or Family guy in spanish, it just doesn't sound as good. I do admit that watching american shows in spanish is fun 🤣

well, simpson in japanese its something i cannot imagine... since im used to simpson in spanish... and its epic =P, its better than the one in english (maybe because im used to it)...
also i believe that if you start seen something with any languange it would be natural to you hear it, and if you hear a dub then you think its horrible...
WITH the exception of english dubs and spanish dubs of MOST animes, they DO NOT know how to dub... its like they are reading a book with 0 emotion and tottaly lame... i give them 1 of 10, and not 0 for have the courage to actually release a dub so bad.
Here on my country the dubs are so bad that it hurts my ears... and out of all the animes that i have seen on TV that have good dubs are dragonball, pokemon, inuyasha, and i think im forgetting a few...
and an example of EXTREMELY BAD DUB and EXTREME censorship would be latin american one piece.. the spanish dubs are far than worst... they change almost all what they are really saying...
I started seen one piece in TV... and just a few episodes and i had to stop seen it to dont polute my ears and eyes LOL... a few months later i heard that one piece dubs were extremely bad and that in other countries the censorship was so extreme that it dosnt worth seen it... and yeah they were tottaly right =P
Now im a fan of one piece

I'd like to watch Avatar the Last Airbender in Japanese dub. When I watched it for the first time, I thought it was an anime because the art style is similar to a high-quality anime, but it's an english-language production. As I see it, watching it Japanese-dubbed would be ironic, but I think I'd like it.

it would be interesting to see i have to admit, but im not sure how it would go. for anime i think the voice actors are great, even though hearing it originally in japanese is good english is cool too

One good example of foreign dub: Polish dub for Shrek - the translator simply did an mindblowing job of translating all the dialogues so that they have same rhythm, length and humour as in original. I've heard, that the translation is actually better, than the original.

Have you guys seen Harry Potter in Japanese? Awesome. 🤣 It made me laugh. Simply because Harry voice is even girlier than the original. Anyways, my thoughts on Japanese Dubbed stuff is that it can be a bit awkward. If it's cartoons we're talking about, I'd totally watch it just to see how it's been voiced! As long as it is portraying the same message. But all-in-all, I would like to see the original version more.

Yes, I think it would be interesting to here Japanese dubs of American shows/movies. I saw on one anime list last season that Nickelodeons Penguins of Madagascar was going to Japan. I want to hear what King Julien sounds like.
Lol, what's the point? If I was Japanese I'd want to watch the original American version with Japanese subs. But since I'm American and I live in America, I'd rather watch it in English. 🙄

That kind of thing is only done for laughs...
Now, I've never seen a Japanese dub of an English show, but I have seen a Russian dub of South Park...
It was awesome to hear their version of the French Canada song.
