and i call everybody a nigra, even though they're white/asian

i wouldn't really care if somebody called me yellow.

used to be racist cause i thought all white people were stupid, but i forgot that i live in AMERICA where everybody is white, so all the stupid people are bound to be white.

I also think racist is something that sometimes is taught by our parents, by the media, because of prejudice or sometimes because of what other people tells us to... But it all comes down to that person if they want to follow and discriminate or not, if they're gonna do what they think is the right thing to do or to do what the other tells is the right thing to do; like the effect in cognitive dissonance.

I'm against racist, because a person doen't change even if they're small, or tall, or black or green or fat, etc. And also because I am a mexican and I know that some mexicans that live in united states are treated very bad, and not only them but OTHER races too, not only in the US but all round the world which I think is unfair ...

Also not everyone in america are white, and not everyone in mexico are dark skin or all stupid; or that black or white people are blah, blah, blah.... so I think that racist needs to be pushed aside, starting by ourselves and them try to tell the others about the negative effects that this brings...

Depends on what you mean by racism, so I chose other.

Now, I've lived in a diverse society my whole life (11 years So. CA + 5 years San Francisco, CA = 16), so I'm used to seeing most races on a daily basis. Currently, the whites are the minority, and the Asians (mostly Chinese and Vietnamese here) are the majority. Of course, there are blacks and Mexicans and etc. around here too.

Anyway, I honestly dislike whites, I dislike blacks more, and I dislike Mexicans most. I know exactly how much I dislike each race. However, I don't act upon my beliefs when I interact with individuals from each race. When I meet a person, I will go about it the same way I would go about meeting, say for example, an Asian (I'm Vietnamese btw). My prejudices for each race will have extremely subtle effects on my behavior, at most. Now, does this make me a racist?

I don't believe that anyone can go through life without acquiring prejudices. People are shaped by their parents, school, their society and demographics, and their experiences. In this way, everyone gets prejudices. For the most part, my beliefs that those Mexicans I see throughout my daily life generally do stupid assholish things generally does live up to its case. It's an observation and it's not an action, so does this make me a racist? Just because racists define classes of individuals to call inferior doesn't mean that others should define a class of racists to call inferior too, especially when the line between a racist and a non-racist is so unclear. I do however think that people who act like stupid asses (such as 'racists') all the time deserve no respect whatsoever.

There are differences between races, and the only ones who don't see these are those as naive as children, well, and children too =]. Please don't act like you have no prejudices. Oh, that brings up another thought: the people I hate most of all are not of any single race, other than assholes, are people that front and act like someone else. I absolutely hate those people so much.

I go to an international school is a country I was not born in. There are only two other people from the US in my grade and neither of them are white. I think I would have trouble being racist even if i wanted to.

You african american people are scary ;-; some are nice, but some are just.. scary and bullies...

so it varies.

Some white people are scary... I mean like at the stuff whites do compared to blacks. Whites do the more outrageous things hands down.

I have never hated because of race. I've hated someone of a different race, but never because.

I hate racism period. However I have to say that many people who tend to be a bit racist are not completely in the wrong, but they have overgeneralized what they hate about a particular culture and have extended that to include race.

As far as modern society need be concerned, any culture that demeans the worth of knowledge and social equality is inferior. Its important to note though that any individual can break free of that negative quality in their culture by simply not acknowledging that part of their culture, thereby creating a new culture that is equal to any culture that promotes the worth of knowledge and social equality. Its also important to know that to persecute those of an inferior culture is still wrong. To remove the meme (idea) that creates that cultural affliction should be the goal and that is done simply by teaching those people who dont understand yet, the true value of learning and equality.

Do keep in mind though that just because a person seems to represent an inferior culture, doesnt mean they support the meme that curses that culture. Therefore in spite of anyones appearance, you cannot judge them so easily.

There are African Americans are nice, you just have to get to know them! You shouldn't judge how nice people are based on race. Whites, latinos, blacks, etc they all have mean and scary people! >:-(

I hate it when people get races mixed up...
People come up to me and say 'Konnichiwa' when I'm chinese.... 😢

As a whole, I don't like racism. But there will always be cultural stereotypes associated with races of people. Like how Asians (Asian Americans at least) are supposed to be really smart? I hate dealing with that. Racism isn't just about the bad things, it's about the good too.

Being one of very few asians in an almost completely white community for all my life, I just don't care much for race. But racism definitely exists a lot in America. Here, where I live in the northeast, it's not much of an issue and most people are very welcoming towards other races. In the south, it's a different story.

I am deffinitly against racism, or anything like it.

it makes me mad that people can judge others just on their skin colors couse some people of a race do stupid things, i mean honestly, if you judge white people on a certian few, you'd think we were all serial killers that ate people in their basement, which to me is just crazy......
i really dont understand how people can just judge someone on their race tho.

Rascism will be here as long as people continue to classify themselves by race. I am not against racism because I always refer to myself as American Indian ( a race) and I also refer to one of my friends as a black guy, and I have another friend who is a white guy, and my boss is Middle Eastern. So I am a racist since I refer to people and describe them by race.

However!!!!!! I do not discriminate against anyone based on race. I do not believe in stereotypes. I am not prejudiced in my actions toward people of any race. I do not condoen those behaviors either. Though I do like to tell Polish jokes and make fun of people for various things.

Let me pose this to you. If I saw a fat black guy walking down the street and joked that he was "so black he has to eat tootsie rolls with white gloves on so he doesn't bite his fingers" or something equally offensive, everyone would call me racist. But if I said he was "so fat he had smaller fat people in orbit around him" I bet people would laugh. I don't understand the difference, I think both jokes are funny, both poke fun at things he can't really control, both are offensive. But one is about his race and the other is about his body mass, so one is not ok and one is ok?

So there. 😕 😕

Life is tough......but it's tougher if you're stupid.
