Konnichiwa Minna!

I'm just curious how the process works. I would like to know who provides the internet with raws?, especially the mangas that come out weekly and how is this community organised?

Also are raws provided only on request or do the scanlating groups scan it themselves?

Thank you for viewing this thread. 🙂

Most people who scan manga live in Japan, cause exporting volumes and especially magazines to foreign countries is hella expensive and takes loooong. There's not really much else to it, unless you want to know how to actually scan a manga, for which I think there is a guide on this site somewhere.

Are the people who scan Japanese or foreign nationals?

Both, probably.
