Hello there, Pikadango-chan.

I must say I'm in the same category as you; I seriously love the Sims 3...along with the Expansion Packs of course.

I mostly download hairstyles, accessories to make the game more fun and stylish.

Hm, Sims 3 is the best ever; anything is possible there. Age, romance, aliens, supernaturals, seasons... 😀

When The Sims came out, I got hooked and bought all the expansion packs.
When The Sims 2 came out, I was ecstatic and bought all the expansion packs.
When The Sims 3 came out, I couldn't believe it but the excitement wasn't the same, so I downloaded the game and its expansions from the internet, played for a while the stopped, and some years ago I deleted all traces of it from my computer.

Needless to say, I spent a shitload of money on all this.
But good times, I guess.

What kinda irks me is that I finally got The Sims 3 + a Supernatural expansion pack this year, only to find out that they're releasing The Sims 4 just next year.

It's a fun series, however. I remember downloading a bunch of Sims skins for the first game, Sims 1, and a lot of mods for Sims 2.

What I like about the Sims 3 stuff right now is that it runs pretty smoothly on my PC and that there are some decent customization without going to any third-party sites. Sims 3 + Supernatural gives enough content that I can't really complain.

Yes, Supernatural is the best expansion pack one can have for Sims 3.

Does any of you own Sims 3 University Life? It's the latest expansion and the feedbacks on it are really cool.

Hi thanks for responding! ( I have a new account ) Sadly I do not, the only expansion packs I own for the Sims 3 are: Ambitions, Night-life, Pets, Generations, Seasons, and Showtime.... (:

I was expecting a lot of Sims3 in the beginning stages.... but as the expansion packs continued and all, I started feeling extreme disappointment. The game was riddled with bugs that they didn't bother to fix. Every expansion pack felt incomplete and underdeveloped. Expansion packs for The Sims and The Sims 2 were basically games by themselves. They had SO much content. The expansion packs for the Sims 3 were complete fail imo.

I think this is because they were trying to manage the Sims store at the same time. Stick with one or the other, I hated how spread out all their content was. Both the store and the expansion packs were price gouged.

It makes me worry about Sim4. The Sims doesn't deserve such blah treatment. No game will be 100% bug free, I know, I understand that. There was no excuse for how unoptimized and lacking Sims 3 was. For Sims4, I want less expansion packs with MORE included with each (Supernatural should have been in Late Night, period)

They should either stick with just the store or stick with just the packs. I want to buy my sims in packs, not in sets or individually. I also want to see some fresh animations. There were way too many Sims2 animations in Sims3. It made gameplay really dull, if I wanted to watch Sims2, I would play Sims2.

I was very excited to hear that Sims will be smarter in Sims 4 and multi tasking will be a thing, but I hope that isn't all. I want the Sims to be you know... a simulation of real people. Real people don't fade away and suddenly their car is on the street and they drive away. Real cars don't magically become see through when there should have been a crash. Things like that just... please take a different direction developers.
