Some elaboration on the story (read the story first):
I always thought my parents were insane for getting married within 6 months of dating. I thought it was way too fast to know that the other person was "the right one".

Then, I start really talking to this guy over the internet and phone in mid-August and met him for the first time in early September. I went alone and didn't tell anyone where I was going to meet this stranger. (We went to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom because it was halfway between us. He lived 5.5 hours away.) It was a stupid thing to do in retrospect, but I was an adult (27), so I wasn't as worried about it as I should have been. (Don't follow my example, kiddies.) Anyway...

It was an overnight stay - we stayed together at a hotel. On the second night, we were watching something on TV, and a commercial came on. I don't remember what the commercial was even for. I just remember it was a man and a woman doing lots of little 'dating' things, and then one turns to the other and says, "Don't you wish we could just skip all that and go straight to the honeymoon?"

I turned and looked at him and said, "Please tell me you didn't just have the same thought that I had?" to which he replied with an 'innocent whistle' (meaning he had.) We knew that weekend that we met in person that we wanted to be together. We didn't actually get engaged for another 2 months though. (It was the next time that we could see each other in person, IIRC.)

Hmm. So you prefer the shy type or somethin? But I agree. The girls at my school talk WAY too much and act like snobs. They do say being a good listener is as important as being a good talker (or something like that).

I did a a relation before but it never been more then 1 day because the day after my dad got really sick so i stay with him at the hopital and 2 month later he die and 13 day after that my grandmother die and 10 day later my grandfather die so since then i never feel confortable about love.

I agree, there are plenty of times when I'll be riding the bus or the Skytrain when I hear some teenage girls loudly talking and giggling about stupid shit.
