I always at least made the offer to go dutch, and left it up to the guy to decide whether or not he wanted to pay for me. It's the polite thing to do.

I always pay. And sadly, most of my guy friends have that whole, "women don't pay, it's the man's job" thing going on... so we get into huge arguments about me paying. They never take the money, so I always have to shove it or hide it somewhere for them to find. Really pisses them off.

It's not the I don't appreciate the gesture of them wanting to pay for me but I'm an extremely independent person and can pay for myself.

If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.

I now tend to make payment arrangement before going to eat/drink/do anything. It's not that difficult to discuss something like that. Make it casually into your conversation. I like it when I buy a guy a drink and he buys me a drink back in return (they don't have to be the same price).

Noes.... I'm all alone..I can survive with my undying Love towards the Internet and mangas.
