What do you usually do?

In my case, I have no skills at all, but luckily I have someone that does nearby (my bro). That is for general stuff, like electrical stuff (can deal if it's computers though) or plumber, or fixing some broken stuff around the house.

Third option. I'm pretty handy but I know my limits. I won't hesitate to call for help if I can't fix it.

Probably the fourth. ^^
I'm too stubborn when it comes to that. Last time I tried repairing the computer it didn't go well, the repair guy even had to use a vacuum since some pieces blew up inside. XDD

I am very good a breaking things.
Somehow, I am not so good at repairing them, and if I try, it makes everything much worse.
So calling in someone who knows what they are doing is best.

I try to fix it myself, and if I can't, I get my dad to do it since he's good at that sort of thing, then have him show me. 🙂

I try to fix it myself, if it doesn't work, I'll ask someone for help.
Surprisingly, I'm actually good at building stuff and fixing things...

It depends my mood. If I'm into it I can fix just about anything, but if I'm not in the mood the specialist must be called. Which is usually my Dad when he feel's like it.

I try to fix it first, never hurts to try even if you make it worst. 😐
But if all fails I ask someone else to do it.

Depends on what's broken...

I don't mess with electrical stuff at all; most other things I read up on the net & see if it's something I can tackle or not.

Often I can find everything I need to know and take care of the problem. Smaller, less complicated stuff I can pretty much figure out & take care of on my own.

If not, the first person I call is generally my step-dad because he can almost always tell me what's going on & whether it's something I can do or not, and if it's not, he'll usually come over & help.

The big exception to this is that when the kitchen sink drain clogs, I just call Roto Rooter to come clear it out because it's a real pain to deal with even for them. (>_<)

I'll try to fix it if it's something reasonably expendable to me. Otherwise I'd get someone I know that can fix to fix it for me.

For example... If I break an alarm clock or a cell phone, I can take it apart and fix it. If I run into any problems, I'll take it to my friend that knows what he's doing and learn from him.

If I break a TV or something really expensive, then I'm getting a professional in there.
