Manga creator Shizuru Hayashiya ended his Hayate X Blade manga in the July issue of Shueisha's Ultra Jump Magazine that was released on Wednesday. The issue also notes that Hayashiya will be publishing an epilogue to the series in the magazine's next issue that will be released next month.

Hayashiya began the yuri action-comedy manga in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Daioh magazine in 2004, and the manga moved to the Ultra Jump magazine in 2008. Shueisha will publish the manga's 18th and final volume on September 19. Seven Seas licensed the manga in 2007, and re-released the series in omnibus form in 2011.

"Hayashiya began the yuri action-comedy manga" ...Too bad it didn't end that way. I dropped this crap when it became abundantly clear all yuri content, even subtext, was dropped for boring shounen battles.
