Right now in the genres filter you can specify which categories you want to include/exclude.

With the categories feature, you can choose which category you want and thats it.

It'd be good if there was a text box in the categories feature(like the one in the genres filter) where you could list genres to include or exclude.

Agreed.

One major reason I support this is because it if I filter a certain category, I am able to see all of the other series that don't have said category.

I'm then able to update those series with the category if it is necessary.

I know a lot of people don't like Incest, Bestiality, or Rape so I've been doing searches by description to categorize series.

I also think that while searching for categories, you wouldn't have to go to the tag list to see if it is plural or not. Should be like an auto-suggest feature such as when adding categories to a series (if possible that is).

Yeah ^^ I had the same Idea because since we have this categorie section it's much easier to find some things but to be able to exclude some categories would be a real help.

for example I don't like Onshots and that includes Collection of Onshots....so it would really help me if I could exclude it....

This is already possible via advanced search, though admittedly it's not all that convenient or 'user friendly'.

Maybe auto-completion in the Categories/Tags field?

O.o...is it really possible to exclude categories?....I didn't know this...but I can't find this on the advanced search page..... I mean ..could I do it if I use my keyboard and add "exclude_" in the url??... it would be nice if there would be an easyer way...like a button or something like this..or am I just stupid and this "button" exists??

As far as I know, there is no way to exclude categories in the advanced search, you can only include them.

(By the way, this other thread is similar.)
