The thing is that hentai, in comparison with yaoi, doesn't really have a plot most of the time, and I guess girls like the romance in yaoi, or just the good hard sex/smut between men because what they're interested into are male bodies.

Hentai emphasizes on the women's body so it may be a little less interesting for girls, yet, not uninteresting.

The same explanation goes for porn! It's mostly produced by USA which is quite a patriarcal country. Porn is made for men, it emphasizes the women's body, the camera stay most of the time on the girl.

But, there are porn videos or hentai that imply equally the man and woman or some where you see the man a little more.

And even then, some women will like to see a woman's body beeing fucked too because they can identify.

Anyway, a great dose of sex/smut is appreciated by everyone male or female at one time or another! 🤣
