In my case, only to friends, and stuff like screenshooting the desktop, put the screenshoot as wallpaper and then hiding the icons. Had seen people just disconnect the keyboard and clueless victims asking for help because the keyboard didn't work afterwards 🤣

Don't think any were done to me either, but there was no option for that.

I don't bother nowadays.... don't need the hassle of explaining myself to the victim.

There are other ways, though (thanks to most people's inability to secure their system properly)

Used to...back in the 90's. Not so often nowadays.

There was....
*the ghost that posses your computer which did stuff like turning your monitor off, move your cursor, types things in notepad, opens the disk drive etc.

*the...flasher(?)...it makes your screen flash with bright lights...might even cause seizures...though that never happened to me >_>

the cupholder: just opens your disk drive

the spinner: spins your screen for a minute or so...when it stops, your screen would be jumbled up...

I do this all the time.
Sometimes I randomize the mouse movement,
add annoying macroes to keys,
rename all the files the same, create new
incons and
draw horrible (or awesome if you like pigs, goatse,
green Morgan Freeman and
cranberry juice in the same picture playing
with DragonForce) desktop pictures in MSPaint or Photoshop.

If its a keyboard, I pop off the "m" and the "n" keys and switch them...

I don't even have to be in the same room to hear the mayhem.
