For a while there, the lady from the grudge messed with my dreams, but never the ring one....she wasn't scary at all...

I went for Mike Myers. I really not a big fan of any horror/slasher flick, mainly because they tend to lack a decent story, but also because it freaks me out a bit (don't spend much time alone in the dark a while after watching those films). However, I voted for Myers because Halloween is one of the few slasher films that is actually scary (instead of just random violence). Some other films, like The Ring, are also scary, but those aren't slasher films. I just love how in one Halloween movie (I forgot which), you always saw Myers in the background stalking his prey and then you would see his POV as he killed his target. I kind of just fell in love with hsi character after that.

well, thought people say, alot of the choices i put doesnt fit in there, but i thought it was reasonable... maybe sweeny todd was alittle too varied, but jaws and blob is one of those really big classics i thought was good.... though i do wish i can edit my poll, if i can to fix changes... oh well, whats done is done

what i like about horror movies is that, they could keep it low budgeted and use whatever home materials they need and still can produce gold...

i dont like it when they use famous actors Anthony Hopkins, due to the fact you are used to his character and see alot of his other images from other movies which kinda conflicts with your view of seeing the entire movie... thats the only reason i didnt find "shutter" scary, i mean jessica alba is fit for simple drama, fantasy action, or romance movies.... actors are important... i mean horror is the only acception with wanting 3rd rate actors, cause its someone you dont know.... like slasher movies are good in my opinion, just if they squeeze in alittle twist at end areas, like "scream" or "house of the wax".... though i admit hopkins did act it out really great and made a classical trophy.... zombies are funny yo watch, some actors that needs nothing but walk like they have to take a shit anytime, best kind of horror, george romeo is a true genius...

Not in the list (and most prolly don't know about it), but I'd pick manananggal from Filipino folklore. They're as creepy as hell. Always been scared of those >_<

I don't watch horror movies much D: . So I'd have to go with Jason though. Nothing says crazy psychopath like a hockey mask |D

Since I'm not a big fan of horror movies, I don't really watch them that much. So... I guess my favorite would be Sweeney Todd. Jason is another one.
