technically atleast part of oorichimaru is alive and kicking in kabuto, figure it's only a matter of time before oorich either takes over or mutates into a worse evil mixed with kabuto

Exactly my thoughts. We don't even know yet for sure. Let's wait for the next chapter. And also Orochimaru is not dead.

Haven't you seen the white snake slithering around? >_> That's Oro~ He's still alive and kicking, but I think it'll take a while again, before we see him again. Well, at least, Sasuke has lost the power to use Orochimaru's techniques, like uber-healing.

I think the fact that he couldn't beat Itachi by himself will do one of two things

1. Push him even farther into his Emo escapism.
   or
2. Snap him back to reality and have him rejoin Naruto, but not before fighting it out with his rival.

Yeah, but he still needs to hunt down Madara~ >.< So his revenge quest isn't over yet. But I guess it's possible that he and Naruto will work together to defeat Madara. Although reluctantly from Sasuke's part, since he has so much unnecessary pride. 🤣
