Ok, so my friend Justin and I were chatting on Yahoo Messenger about who Tobi and Danzou really are. That's when he typed this:

Ok, I belive that Tobi is Obito and that Danzo is Madara. Why, you ask? That's a good question. In the case of Tobi, the first clue is in his name! His name is too close to Obito! He has the Sharingan, which belongs to a dead clan...the age and timing fits, they never REALLY showed Obito's corpse, Tobi acts like Obito alot, who also acts like Naruto. And that fact that he has that mask that covers his whole face except for his right eye could be a clue because Kakashi took his left eye. As for Danzo, it just hit me while reading chapter 424. Danzo is a bitter old man who obviously is a high class ninja. He's always wanted to be Hokage, same as Madara. He hates all the previous Hokages because they take after the teachings of the 1st Hokage (whom defeated Madara). He's been planning and plotting all this time for something big, he can't just be any old joe blow ninja. He's likely part of a big M. Night Shyamalan-like plot twist lol. And, he also covers up 1 of his eyes. I get the feeling his Sharingan is in 1 of them.

So what do you think? Danzo may also be the son of Madara or possibly Madara's biggest follower but I strongly believe that Danzo has a connection to Madara. Odds are he's Madara pulling the strings on this puppet show and that Obito is really working for him...."

Personally, I think that Tobi is just Madara and that Danzou is just Danzou. But I want to know what you guys and gals think about what he said.

...doesnt tobi outright say that he's madara? Also Danzo is covering the wrong eye. Also when Tobi removes his mask in front of SharkMan revealing his Right Eye as sharingan, SharkMan recognizes him as Madara. Mind you Danzo's right eye is always exposed.

I doubt it. Danzo is just a..ambitious old man on his own. the tobi=obito theory kinda makes sense, like barley, but then again, we all know tobi=madara from everything we read. plus Danzo doesn't like the Akatsuki, so how he work together with Madara?[he says "akatsuki are good for something after all" in a negative way in the newest chapter showing his dislike for them]

There's a possiblity for Tobi to be Obito. But he has right out said that he was Madara.

this ones been said alot, i think it depends on the translation. the one i read made it sound more like he had madara's power, not outright being madara.

anyone that can read the original jap wanna take a hit at it once and for all?

the theory has some sound points here and there, but i doubt it's like how your friend said. like the Danzou case in particular. you know it's entirely possible that he could have been trained by Madara actually. if you think about it, there was always a team made to train new ninjas. so it's like Danzou spent his Genin days under Madara's wing before he defected. Danzou's belief system could also be stemmed from that betrayal, that's probably why he's looking to make Konoha more militant and less trusting.

Nay, it is unlikely that it is true.

Also, considering the 'names looking similar'-argument, they don't even look alike in the original language. That's just how it got translated into English.

In simple and easy to explain terms: obito doesnt have a clear enough image to be making certain accusations,danzou is his own man with no current explaination as to why he has sharingan and madara is the not so good boy tobi 😀 and leader of the akatsuki!
