I'm pulling my hair! So I really hope someone can help me identify this manga.

It was completed and I think it was a little longer than 1 volume (maybe 2 or 3). It might have been just 1 though. I just remember it being not a oneshot but just the perfect length.

The story starts in what I think is middle school (maybe elementary)? and progresses onto the next school level (so it starts in middle and moves on to hs or it starts in elementary and moves on to middle).

In the story the boy is really rowdy and loud. He's popular and in some type of sports team (soccer I think). He is always teasing this girl who we can obvious tell he likes. But he's the type who pulls on a girls pigtails if he likes her. The girl is a goody two shoes. Not a nerdy girl, but very goody goody. I think she wears her hair in two braids. One day she is sweeping the classroom at the end of the day by herself. He comes in and starts bothering her and I think he forces a kiss on her.

She is shocked and repulsed and after that day they never talk again. He thinks she hates him. I think she has always liked him though so even though she didn't appreciate the kiss, she still is uber aware of him at all times. Things happen like him casually mentioning to the whole class he's going to the same hs (middle school) as her once they graduate middle school (elementary school). And her being super aware of what he just said.

When they move onto their next school, it's the same deal. He avoids her but is still uber aware of her and she does the same. He thinks she hates him and I think she thinks the same (or is too embarrassed/prideful to admit she likes him). Finally they confront each other, where he's like I thought you hated me and they end up together.

I loved this story! Just remembered it the other day and would LOVE to give it a reread.
