I was wondering this too. I read from a group that Mangatraders is now down and they apparently targeted Mangaupdates as well.

I wish people would use bcrypt or something instead of MD5, we wouldn't have these issues.

I've just changed all my passwords to prepare for the worse xD
Anyway, the news about MTs gave me a huge shock. After the attack of Heartbleed, I changed all pws once, and now once more...

I don't think it's been absolutely confirmed that MU was hacked. The only evidence thus far has been this image: http://i.imgur.com/HVdcdWG.jpg
My MT email was on the longer list, but my MU email was not. Of course, the list is still incomplete and possibly all the MU accounts will come out later. Just change your passwords to be sure.

So it looks legit? Shit. It's been floating around on /a/ but people don't give it much credit and the MT hack seems to be something isolated.

The MU part of the image is legit. However, it doesn't appear that the hacker and the person that generated the image are the same person. Most likely some other person took the list of emails/passwords from MT and tried to match names to the [sitelink=aboutus.html]About Us[/sitelink] page.
We've already discovered the affected admin and have dealt with the issue.

That is reassuring, thanks for the update.
Though MT had one of my main emails and passwords so I'm still fucked.
