As much as I love the Three Stooges, this news has me skeptical about how well this film will perform, especially...

With Benicio Del Toro as Moe, Sean Penn as Larry and Jim Carrey as Moe

Still, I have to reserve my skepticism and see the film myself before making judgements.

There is no way that I am going to see this movie, especially with those actors. Yes, they are all talented; but anyone other than the original three, are not going to cut it, imo. I don't think they should even bother making it. 😔

I don't know...do we really need a Three Stooges movie? We need more original movies, instead of all these needless remakes. I mean, they're funny and all, but most people would think that the jokes and slapstick comedy they did back then would be boring and so overdone (Despite the fact that they were the originators for most of that stuff) and probably would hate the movie if it included that kind of comedy. And if you put them into a new setting with things that didn't exist in their time (Like cell phones, the internet, etc.), then people would complain that they're trying to make a modern version of something that was better in a simpler time.

To me, it seems that the Farrelly brothers are just fanboys with lots of money. I'm optimistic about this, but my hopes aren't high. Hopefully, it won't be as bad or worse as that modern remake of The Honeymooners. 😔 🤢
