so why do great hentai artist stick to hentai and not just create a senien manga...

is it that they lack the creative ablity with i dont form reading some... odd things... is it love of draw sex... is it money... is it that the manga world as a whole shuns them form doing hentia... 😕 ?

well maybe it's because they've decided to stick to that genre and feel comfortable drawing it.for example, other manga-kas like arina tanemura and matsuri hino stuck to drawing shoujo.they never decided to draw shounen or horror [or something of the sort] because they've stuck to the genre.it's just the same for hentai artists.
*just my guess.

I think the reason is probably money, and opportunity. Seinen magazines probably prefer other regular authors over them.

If their art is good and they can't write good stories, why not work with another author?

I think the doujinshi/H manga markets are easier to get into? 🙄

It happens far more often than you think. Most authors use different pen names when they write hentai, though. The biggest reason why mangaka might stick to hentai is because many of them are actually writing doujinshi, and in the self published market hentai typically sells far better than an original non-sexual work.

your all probaly right... probaly have to ask one to know...

but it is mostly likely eaiser to sell the djs then major works... espically since the magz are so much of a closed circle and what not...

x0mbiec0rp great line "original non-sexual work" personaly i prefer non-h but i picked that up form e-hentai...

Some people can't do anything else except hentai.
Just look at Oh Great! Air Gear... Jesus Christ.
Well, he did suck anyway, but some people should
simply do what they've done since their birth;
drawing penises on sheets of paper.

Very true.

I also think that Mangaka all have their own specialties. Some can write great thrillers or hilarious comedies or deep psychological works. And others are naturally best at drawing... hentai. They may not have the inclination or ability to create a truly good work in another genre.

I'm under the opinion that most hentai artists make hentai because they *like * it or because that's their forte. I doubt it's any easier to get a hentai published than a normal manga.

Besides, I have seen what happens when a hentai artist makes a normal manga: Mousou Shoujo Otakukei. Dissolved into panties panties boobs boobs simulated sex after the first chapter. I don't think sensei could control herself. 😛
