we haven't even seen the title character for a while so i think we will have to wait between those long battles for the plot to move.

Anyway, seems like Kishimoto was just setting up more fights this chapter than actually moving the plot. Like I said in the last chapter thread, I'm more interested in these fights but the fact that he's making so many of them means that some of them will get resolved offscreen and that's not good.

I agree. There's a lot of room for character development in these fights, which is a very good thing, but Kishimoto has decided to mash them all together all at once. Neji's dad coming back and fighting the twin brother he sacrificed his life for? Could have really packed an emotional punch if it wasn't crammed between the stuff with the Mizukage and the feudal lords, Gaara & potato nose kage, and the black panther lightning attack.

i think kishimoto ereased the word "plot" from is dictionary.
i don´t need some new fighting characters. where did the drama from the past go? like the fight with haku and zabusa at the beginning? or the "sayonara"-scene? or the backflash about the murder of the whole uchiha clan?or itach´s death? just revivng old characters won´t help anything. 🙁

too much jumping from one fight to another
I can't even track what the hell is happening, i thought we are seeing gaara fight, there was also negi fight, the previous kages, and the main battle (which i don't know)....
It feels like reading a collection of oneshots that are connected in some way

i found the fan weapon used by ginkaku and kinkaku totally random = =" the other weapons had to do with souls but the fan is the five elements... and the two words the two ninja's use the most just had to be temperature or element related... how.... nice....
