Something new; good graphics and story, but not as long as ME2 or Skyrim. Any genre whatsoever. I'm not sure about what I'm looking for, so I'll update this post when I think of more details.

Must it be new? The old/classics are never bad
Because I thought of giving Portal as advice, it's really good.
Also, GTA, Mirror's edge, Metro 2033 and Amnesia.
Alice: Madness returns, got astonishing graphic and interesting gameplay.
Risen 2: Dark waters&Yesterday looked interesting.
These all games above might not be short w/ nice graphics but the only game I can think of right now that fits into your demands is Journey which is amazingly beautiful and short with a good story/meaning.
I suggest you download Steam and check it out or their hp.
Mmohut got good mmorpg's and other games, lots on YTB.
Can't think of anything else right now but check them all out. Might be good.

The Witcher 2 - very good plot, graphics and action
Dark Souls - good graphics for consoles but you might want to hold up until they release the pc version (there is no way its not gonna happen). the story takes a back seat to the environment but is still really good if you pay attention to it
The Witcher 2 and Dark Souls I feel both did not get the recognition they deserved, being constantly overshadowed by Skyrim in the rpg department. While Skyrim is a really really good game, these two give it a run for its money

How about Final Fantasy XIII-2?

Maybe you'd like the Diablo series? I think a third's coming out. I hate playing on the PC, but I forced myself to because I loved those games 🙂 Can't remember how long they are, but obviously not too long if I managed to beat them.

If you can handle scary games, maybe that "Amnesia" game? 😛

Darksiders I & II - favourite one at the moment, good graphics and story line, especially if you're into Apocalypse and that sort of stuff. 😀

No, Crystalis is an NES/GBC game. If you have an emulator, you can play it. I still need to finish, but it still is a good game. Let us know if you want to play any games through emulators.

If you like The Darkness II, you'll love Bioshock (I'm talking about the first two games, I haven't played Infinite yet). Take a look into The Void, you can find the game on Steam or retail if you live in EU or Russia. For racing, take a look into Burnout Paradise, such a good game.
