Not understanding how Ichigo is even close to the height of his previous powers... when said powers allowed him to smack a God around like it was nothing. If they knew about how powerful he was, why on earth would they want to fight him if he is close to that level?

That's true. I mean the whole entire Soul Society failed miserably against Aizen. If this's the case, the whole fullbring people can pretty much take over Soul Society for their own. Then again, taking over the world theme does seems to show up alot. 🙄

He said that, hes closer to reaching the height of his old powers, probably because before he said that it looked as though ichigo was being covered by his old bankai suit, instead of normal shinigami suit. If this is true, then its only a matter of time before he is covered by zangetsu again, thus reaching the height of his old powers.
