i remember hearing something about a manga thats based on a true story that has an otaku guy that saves this girl on the train and they fall in love..i know its something like that but i forgot the title of the manga 😕
i was nervous at first it was big & long & went straight up i had to try it i eased onto it & liked it! i went up & down on it.... i love escalators now! 😀

yep, it's Densha Otoko. The story was also made into a live-action drama in 2005, and a movie I think.

Only seen the live action, but its ridiculous and over the top. There was more overacting in this piece than your grandma's blatter. Unless you need a good laugh and that's really the only thing good that will come of it, don't waste your time.

I would recommend going with the novel, I enjoyed it the most, if nothing more than for the interesting format. The story itself is pretty good (although I have my doubts about how true it actually is), but for the reasons dane listed already, the live actions really weren't all that great.
