I know so many people that can't properly tie a neck tie. Truthfully, it is depressing.

Members of Mu, can you tie a tie?
If you can, what knot do you use?

I use a Half-Windsor

I can do it, although I have no idea as to what type of knot it is.

That's just the sort of thing the internet can help you discover.

omigaahh... ahahaha. This brings back memories. Two years ago, my Model UN teacher had all the students (girls included, lol) bring in ties one day and spent that day teaching us all how to do a simple knot. Good stuff, haha. I knew there were different knots, but... meh... not sure which one I learned.

.... hahaa- even after looking it up for fun, I can't really figure out which is which. Is there really that much of a difference between the knots? It sorta seems like the two ends are just twisted around a different number times and then one end goes over and in the crevice formed by the twists. Seems pretty simple, IMO. Sorry if I'm degrading the great art of necktying or something.

I can...not well, but then I only need to do it every few years. 🤣

And I have no idea what the knot is called. 😔

I really don't need to know, especially since there is no longer a need for me to tie any ties.

Well i can, but it's been some time since i did it. I learned how tie half windsor, four in hand (if i'm not mistaken about the name), pratt (that's my favorite) and onassis (just for fun, it looks really pompous).
