I am so excited for the new episodes, i am not going to put any spoilers so just what i think about the last updates!
there's a lot going on about this manga in the internet (i'm never into theories or anything like that but this manga is the one that I can't just stop reading), i stop reading bleach (it got boring and i just ...well), naruto could read it after two or three months, but one piece right now has a lot of stuff going on it's like if i look away something will change!

anyway what do you think?

I think Oda has been taking too many breaks recently.

I think Oda deserves those breaks. He shouldn't overwork himself.

I'm just waiting for the current arc to finish up so I can marathon through it all. Soooo, I'll probably have to wait another year before I can read again, since each arc is always so damn long. 😔

I started on 2001 and finally stopped last year. The time jump arcs are bland and most characters went down the drain (especially the women) BUT Oda 110 % deserves the ultra very short "breaks". He is the most successful mangaka of all time and had one of the most inhuman working schedules this medium ever saw for the better part of nearly 2 decades. Do the "fans" want to kill the aging man (age 42).
He has no (family) life outside of SJ. Leave him alone.

I know Oda of all people deserves a break. For a long time he didn't take any at all but the reason I'm annoyed is I'm pretty sure he's been taking breaks because of One Piece Gold and most anime based movies are bad.

yess i also want the arc to finish so i can read it non-stop! but anyway; yeah he really deserves the breaks.

I feel proud of him you know, after so many years his manga is number one...it's just wow!

Yeah, even if it´s hard (it´s so~ hard TT___TT living from week to week ?), he needs those breaks and i don´t think those are just "breaks"

He alway flashs us with stuff put in chapters, that are back in 200 or somewhat. We are like "wuuut i never realised", "f***, he planed that all the way" and "that exists in real-life?!"

So he has to make it proper, has to mind small details, has to research and stuff;

Also, he has to report to his editor, if those don´t like his ideas, he has to redo it.

He sure want "One Piece" to be perfect, so since it´s "going to the end" it´s getting trickier ?
