By last man, I mean something slightly similar to an Adam and Eve scenario, or like Nagasarete Airantou's setting. Either there is only one man alive and fertile, or the man and women are stuck in a location that's completely isolated, so that no one outside can even know that there are people alive inside and vice-versa, again leaving the man as the only man alive within the "world".

This is sort of a justified harem. On the one hand, if the man chooses one woman, then he's going to be surrounded by frustrated women who will resent his wife for getting the guy. At the same time, if he chooses just one woman and decides to have kids with her, then he's going to have to realize how cruel it would be to make his children's only romantic option be a full sibling. Half siblings have at least some degree of variety to decrease the chances of genetic disorders.

Anyway, the man is surrounded by women who actually have to face the question of "if he was the last man on earth".

Oh yeah, forgot about Sleeping Planet. A little different but good. And I guess he is the "only man", at least until they figure out a way to wake the other guys up.

I've read the first volume, and the boy finds that everyone on earth is asleep and can't wake up. The only thing that works is that he can wake a girl up by having sex with her, and I believe it implies that using his semen girls can be woken up without actual sex. Until they find a way to wake other men though, it's just him.
