When talking about general internet search engines, Google is pretty much the only choice these days. Sure there are others, but those have much fewer content than Google has.
Google used to be my favourite, these days not so much, it often just doesn't find what I'm looking for or simply decides to look for something completely else (trying to act smart when it definitely should not)
I mostly went back to the pre-'search engine' approach: Learn where to look for things myself and place bookmarks where necessary.
Also, if the interface is annoying, I'll just code my own...

There was a time when Bing first came out and it's like damn, it's google but with a nice background, and people started talking about it like crazy... but eventually it just died and i never heard about it again xD.

It's always been Google for me.
I've been using it since it first came out. I actually remember being introduced to it when I was in primary school. Never looked back since.
