Hi, anyone have a suggestion for a game for the psp. Im looking for rpgs any kind of rpg is good EXCEPT i'm one of the people who dont like the Final Fantasy series so plz dont suggest one of them. (kingdom hearts has some final fantasy characters and i think thats ok probobly the only exception)
I'm looking forward to Kingdom hearts Birth By Sleep. 😛

Also ya i know not many rpgs for PSP right now. Any game can take me awhile to beat (i usually only play psp when im in a car or on a road trip every other sec is used on reading manga)

Crisis Core is really good. It's the prequel to Final Fantasy VII and is a little like Kingdom Hearts. It's not like the other Final Fantasy games though.

loco roco is the must have game for the psp, disgaea, DJ max, tales of eternia, bleach heat the soul 5?, and of course of the final fantasy series, i only play ff7 on my psp anyways.

also crisis core is really turn based at heart, no combos.

I second Tales of Eternia, maybe PoPoLoCrois...but not sure on that one.

I haven't played this game, but I hear Valkyrie Profile is really fun. Unfortunately, it's been almost eight years since being released in English, so you probably won't be able to find a copy in stores. I even looked in "used games" stores. 🙁 But there's hope! Its prequel came out two years ago, so you can find it easier. (I think I'm just having bad luck in finding it.)

EDIT: I just looked Valkyrie Profile on wiki and I found out that another version of the original game was released about two years ago under the name Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth for the PSP. There's more hope! Yay!

valkyrie profile fighting is pretty fun, but only being able to walk left/right pisses me off so i couldn't finish it.

Do you know about the Monster Hunter series? It's supposed to be good on the PSP but you might find it a little tedious and annoying after a while.

I'll still recommend FFVII: Crisis Core, despite what you say about not like FF games, lol. It's really good. Aside from that, you should try Kingdom of Paradise and Valkyrie Profile. Puzzle games are always good on handhelds, in my opinion. Games like Lumines and Capcom Puzzle World (just becuz it has Super Puzzle Fighter II TURBO!) =P

On the PSP I recommend.
