Well...where I'm from 90% of the people who read manga started on fruits basket...its spread like hay fever about 5 or 6 years ago. It was my first and my favorite manga of all-time....yes biased but we all get attached to our firsts.

I don't get attached to my firsts. I read them like almost 20 years ago. You can read my previous post of my first shoujo mangas on this thread. 😐

My first shoujo manga was Saint Tale (not sure of the title), but I didn't get to finish it since it was just lent to me. But the first one I completely read was Kamikaze Kaitou Jeane. Quite funny how my firsts have similar concept.

The first manga I ever read was Ouran High School Host Club. At that time I was into anime but I decided to read the manga and loved it. Even now its still one of my favorites.

Oh man, that's a nice question ...umm [scratches head] well, my guess would probably be fruits basket, idk, it's the only manga that came to my head first. thought i watched the anime first, and then the manga.
But then Kare Kano was also one i was watching...i mean the manga i started reading later on.
I'd say fruits basket. Love it btw!><XD
thought it was long, it made me cry like hell. All those long and useless scenes were worth the wait

Sailor Moon is my first shojo manga. I've read Sailor Moon when I still child.

since Paradise Kiss is josei, my first shoujo manga - tagged under shoujo that is - is My Girl. it's a manhwa by the way. if it's not acceptable then i do not know my first shoujo! 🤣

I believe it was Hakushaku Cain. As far as I remember, I liked it, but that was seven years ago. Since then my tastes have changed a lot.
