well...seeing as how people are now introducing themselves more frequently and the fact that i haven't introduced myself despite the long time i've been here...i wanna say hi to everyone... 😀

my name's mark, 19 yrs old, currently in my 3rd year of college majoring in information systems, so far...i haven't flunked yet but i've had a few close calls 🤣 and now my biggest problem is philosophy 😢 and i feel i might fail this year 😲

i have been a fan of anime since i watched dragonball then yu yu hakusho and then came flame of recca..as you can see i started out pretty much with shounen anime and they were all just on tv. back then they never sold any anime or manga since it still wasn't really popular compared to disney & warner bros. cartoons. and so, i continued with this limited knowledge of anime(i never even heard of manga back then). it wasn't until two years ago when i got a DSL connection that i really got into anime & manga.

if you've looked at my list you can see that even when i started out with the shounen genre, i am now a fan of shoujo manga. it started out when i watched kimi ga nozomu eien and found that shoujo had more character & plot development than shounen, though i still am a fan of shounen majority of what i read are shoujo.

well...thats done, hope to get along with everyone better 😁

i'm not sure what anime i started out with since i can't remember that far back
but i do believe i also started with some of the same ones as you.. like dragon ball and yyh

yup..we finish high school when we're around 16-17 yrs old

3 yrs of pre-school starting when we're 3-4 yrs old

then 6 yrs of elementary school

then 4 yrs of high school

how's it different from your education system?

i'm already in my third year first semester. i just finished the pre-lim exams yesterday and we're starting midterms next week.
