I generally avoid Bleach filler arcs. Even the Murumasa arc, which is (to my knowledge) considered the best filler arc in Bleach, I didn't watch a single episode, save for a few clips of Byakuya going bankai all over some generic villain (I just wanted to see the latest rendition of his final attack the white imperial sword or whatever it's called and it looks pretty darn outstanding btw). SO anyway I just checked out the preview for Bleach 286

And it looks...interesting. Ichigo and co dressing up as Arabian Knights and going to... the middle east? (it might just be Hueco Mundo but whatever). I'm mainly interested in seeing it because i want to see Chad Uryu and Orihime, since they've been kicked to curb in the manga by Kubo.

So yeah looks intersting, not saying it'll be good but I will be checking out the first episode (assuming it's an arc and not just a one-off).

What do you guys think...if anyone still watches or reads Bleach

It looks like they are making a filler from a single color title page of the manga. I sincerely hope it's just a single episode... because the thought that the show would take a single image and make a 26+ episode filler arc from it just makes me sad...

Well the anime is once again close to the manga so it may be more than one episode. It's clearly a comedy arc so unlike the Bount and Murumasa arcs which were overly ambitious this one looks pretty light, so it may just be 3 to 4 episodes max and then a different filler story may take it's place.

I won't knock it just yet because I haven't seen it but it might turn out to be a case of 'less is more' by being less ambitious it could be really good...or really bad.

It looks like the arabian part is at least just one episode but it is probably kicking off some filler episodes. Hopefully it will just be like the beginning of season 7 with some random filler episodes before going back to the story.

I didnt like the bount filler, but i loved the filler about the swords, that was pretty cool! Just have to wait and see how this next filler goes...

I've put Bleach on-hold beacuse of the filler arcs. When I have the time and patience I'll try start watching it again. Meanwhile I'll stick with the manga

What's sad is that it's actually not that close to the manga. There are still several fights that they could do before needing to go to filler (at the very least they could do the Tousen Kaname fight and leave the Aizen fights to come after a (hopefully short) filler).

In any case, I really hope they don't take another full year to get back to the real story.

Well, everyone should know by know that it was only one episode, not a whole arc, so you can stop complaining. Personally, I'd prefer any filler over Fabio butterfly Aizen.

I just saw it and it was funny as hell. My favorite part was the way they parodied the Soul Society invasion with "Lamp Society". 🤣
